Bathrooms are often supposed to be the women’s domain and more often then not they end up spending a considerable amount of time each day in the bathroom. But in recent years, men too have become much more aware of grooming and spend quite a lot of time in taking care of their appearances. One of the basic grooming tasks that have always been a part of the regime of men is shaving.

Not many men these days prefer to have a beard or a moustache; most of them go the clean shaven look. And although some men might prefer to have a neatly trimmed French beard or a stubble it still requires as much precision and time as a full shave would demand.

There are two things that can make everyday shaving an effortless task; Bathroom lighting and Bathroom shaving mirrors.

Bathroom lighting is very important because shaving does require a stronger effective light to be able to spot the tiniest stray hair. Most people ignore this vital necessity and the result is that men end up trying to get their face as

close to the mirror and straining their eyes in order to get that perfect shave.

A proper lighting can make all of this much easier; light should be placed right above the mirror to provide ample light to be able to see even on the darkest of nights. The proper type of fixture can make all the difference, and with so many options available today it is impossible not to find the right type of light that blends in with the current décor of the bathroom.

Another important accessory that any bathroom would need is a shaving mirror. Yes, normal mirrors are not meant for shaving since they are not equipped with the right type of design and the features that are present in a shaving mirror.

A proper shaving mirror would be flexible and versatile. Most good quality shaving mirrors would be free standing and would be flexible to adjust it accordingly to the requirements. It is better to adjust a mirror while shaving rather than contort the neck and face in all directions.
Most shaving mirrors these days also come equipped with magnification, which allows men to get a closer look to get a cleaner shave. Many of them are reversible as well with each side of the mirror having a different level of magnification.

Again, all these types of shaving mirrors come in a variety of styles, designs and colors. Mirrors are available in wood finish, chrome finish as well as metal finishes in various colors. The type of frame and the color should be chosen according to the current color combination of the bathroom as well the design and layout of the space.
