I visited the Facets
website for the first time today, and liked what I saw.
I especially liked "Memory Tracks" [by Janice
Heiss, July 2001]; it's the type of writing (grounded in
facts and concrete particulars and yet lyrical) that I look
for but don't often find--just wanted to let you
know.

i stumbled onto the name
"janet buck" all over the internet . . . and i finally
decided to read "alice" in [October 2001]--and . . .
i thoroughly enjoyed it and even forwarded to a fellow
writer! i am now officially a janet buck fan based on the
poem i found in your magazine!!! it was a gut-wrenching,
poignant poem . . .

You have a lovely magazine
with poetry that uses language to connect rather than to
create an obscure sense of alienation.
